Hotel Alpina

Good value, rooms are fine with nice views. Good powerful shower. Staff/owners are friendly and food was pleasant. I'll stay here again because the location was ideal for my meetings. A bit more choice for breakfast would have been nice, e.g. Something hot.

This hotel is in a beautiful setting - our balcony had a nice view of rolling hills and was a quiet setting. We walked a short walk to a small town for dinner. The couple running the hotel were lovely and very helpful. We do not speak German and needed help making a phone call to a hotel in another city in Germany. They made this call for us and were so kind and helpful about it. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and much larger than the typical room at most hotels. Also, free car parking and wi-fi.

This hotel is another cozy but outstanding find. Nada was cordial and check in easy. The rooms very spotless. The shower is tiny FYI. Spring the extra euros for the spectacular views from the balcony rooms. The breakfast (€4) was tasty with meats, cheeses, breads, and a soft boiled egg. Nada's coffee is some of the best this Seattle girl has ever tasted. I really like the separate duvets that are so common in Europe.
