Hotel New Fair Munich Messe

Run away from this hotel smelly not clean my kid felt like she was going to suffocate. We were stuck in Germany and needed to stay somewhere we booked it for two night left the next Morning. My pillow had hair I felt like it was going to kill me someone should send the German inspection to shout it down. Never again will we stay here. Wish i could get My money back.

Poor accomodation and stingy owners make a stay here a nightmare. The shower in our room was mouldy, unventilated (overhead fan was filled with dust), unlit and broken, so that we had to hold the shower head. Takes thirty minutes to get to the city by car (no public transport nearby, 2 hour walk otherwise) - €50 round trip, which would otherwise have paid for nicer accomodation in the city. Have to pay minimum €10 for weak wifi, plus €5 per night. No restaurants in sight, no quaint buildings, no shops except car dealerships, and DONT BELIEVE THEM when they say they aren’t near monuments, situated in an industrial neighbourhood. NOTHING TO DO HERE! BYO soap. Beds were dusty and room smelled of damp, so we had to sleep with the window open (it was 2oC outside). Finally, the no refunds policy only seemed like a stingy money grab for the owners, without them improving the conditions at all. We left one night into a four night stay and were not asked what’s wrong. Save yourself the stress and money, it is cheaper and more convenient to go elsewhere.

We decided to leave after one night because the mould in the shower was triggering asthma symptoms. I would question whether it’s in Munich per se, a two hour walk to the city centre, €25 Uber from the hauptbahnhof, no restaurants nearby. If you’re coming to Munich to see car dealerships, this is the place for you. We were willing to put up with a fairly low quality establishment as travelling students, but a bathroom that looked like it had never been cleaned was not what we expected. The shower door couldn’t open all the way due to the build up of soap scum, and I think the mould colonies had developed an advanced society. Reconsider. It’s not worth the money.
