Insufficient customer service. I accidentally booked for October as a business customer. The error was noticed during check in. I then rebooked on site. But no goodwill for October. Should pay 100% cancellation fees anyway. Even via Bocking no solution or goodwill.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The check in was efficient and our room was compact and functional with a balcony. The room was warm but we had a tilt on the balcony door which let in fresh air so that was great. The bed was comfortable, a big fridge and kettle and the shower was warm and powerful. The breakfast was very nice, there was bratwurst or white sausage,scrambled eggs and a good selection of cold meats, cheese and other deli produce. The various types of bread were lovely and individual tea pots for us English tea drinkers was a bonus also. The walk to Marienplatz/ Aufbrauhaus etc is about 20 minutes and there are also several nice bars and restaurants close to the hotel, also the Rosenplatz S train station which runs direct to and from the airport. I can recommend this Hotel, it's good value for money and also walking distance to Old Town if you don't have any health issues.

Unfortunately, there's almost nothing wrong here. The images of the webpage give the impression of a modern hotel. In fact, an ageing building with old (sometimes dirty) carpets, corridors smelling of cigarette smoke and (thin) doors made of plywood awaits you. With an extra bed for a baby, you can't move in the room, except that the bed doesn't fit next to the bed due to the furniture taking some getting used to in the smaller rooms. The kitchenettes are completely run down in some rooms, the equipment deficient (bent randomly thrown together cutlery etc.). Breakfast is advertised specifically, but with the choice of food (especially hot dishes) far from keeping up with other hotels, the breakfast room is oppressive. On arrival you can not get out of the underground car park into the hotel, as a special key is required for this. You then walk with child and cone through a maze of driveways to enter the building from the outside through the main entrance. With family (and stroller) this hotel is totally unsuitable. In principle, a little more honesty would be appropriate on the webpage! NB: After a complaint we got at least one room that matches the advertised pictures to some extent. However, there are significantly better alternatives for the price called for in Munich.
