Tryp Munich

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, but this was probably one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The outside temperature was over 32°C during my stay. Despite this, the air conditioner in my room wasn't working, and the room temperature was even higher than the outside temperature. Sleeping was almost impossible under these conditions. Despite reporting the problem to reception on the first day, the necessary attention was not given. Initially, they acted as if there was no problem, but later they acknowledged that the air conditioner was faulty. However, the problem remained unresolved during my three-night stay. Because it was during the trade fair period, I didn't have the chance to find another hotel quickly. Therefore, I had to stay in these conditions for three nights hoping that the technical service would fix the problem. Eventually, the hotel management acknowledged the inconvenience and offered a free night's stay. However, this gesture did not compensate for the discomfort I endured in an excessively hot room for three days, and the hotel's inadequate handling of the situation. It is unacceptable that a room with a non-functioning air conditioner was sold to a guest under these conditions, and that the problem remained unresolved for days. Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights in May 2026. The hotel is very clean and modern with a boutique feel. Rooms are small, but no smaller than other European hotels. Rooms are very clean and modern. Location is great as it's maybe a really nice 20 minute walk to Marienplatz and only a 5 minute walk to the central train station, and the neighbourhood is very safe. The price was extremely reasonable for what was offered. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at the Hotel München City Center for five nights while attending an international conference held at the hotel. Choosing to stay at the same venue was definitely the right decision. Overall, my experience was excellent. The entire team was wonderful, very welcoming, and always ready to help. I would especially like to highlight the reception team, both morning and evening, who were outstanding and made my stay very comfortable. A special thank you to Julian, who was extremely helpful and provided very useful information throughout my stay. His support and professionalism really stood out and made a big difference. I would also like to recognize Raquel, Alejandra, and Roberto from the reception team for their friendliness and excellent service. The breakfast team was also very good, and I would particularly like to mention Rita for her kindness and great service. In addition, the bus staff were very friendly and welcoming. I truly enjoyed my stay here. If I come to Munich again, this will definitely be my first choice of place to stay. -
