Hotel Nesselwanger Hof

Went for 2 nights: rooms very large, some with great views, wooden alpine motif with great semi/cylindrical shower. Feels like spa hotel at very reasonable price, with great bathrobes for the pool at end of hot day, Food is quite good, service a bit sketchy as language barrier.

The Nesselwanger Hof is in a quiet location above the town. The rooms are cozy and clean, the bathroom generously sized. The swimming pond is popular with guests, the sauna area is well-maintained and pleasantly designed. However, we would not book half-board again. The breakfast buffet was okay. But we were often not satisfied with the dinner menu. The salad buffet was limited, the zander fillet completely oversalted, the bread dumplings had the consistency of concrete and were garnished with only a homeopathic portion of mushrooms. If you pay almost 2,000 euros for a 6-day stay, you can expect better cuisine.

Very friendly when booking. Reception very accommodating. Room in the new building very nice and quiet. We had half board, waiter and service very, very friendly and accommodating. Food top. All round relaxing.
