Nice, clean rooms with space to stretch out. Everything seemed well maintained. Breakfast buffet wasn't as vast as those found in some hotels in Germany, but still more than sufficient to fill me till dinner time. Friendly staff was very accommodating whenever I had requests (e.g., housekeeping, luggage storage, etc).
While not located right in the middle of the older downtown area of Nuremberg, there are several restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. And an U-Bahn station is about a 3 minutes away by foot, and it's only a couple of stops to the Altstadt. I also walked it one night and takes about 30 minutes or so, and parts of the old city are even closer.
