This hotel was so cool! Every room had a different theme. We went to every floor to see the decor. We stayed in the Jules Vern room, which was very cool. Room was very spacious with ultra comfortable beds and pillows.
When we arrived, reception was closed. We pushed a button outside and got a very rude man on the other end who told us that reception was only open from 2-6pm and that we should have read our paperwork. He said he would try to contact a colleague, which he did. She came out in seconds from the hotel and was very pleasant and accommodating. Only bad thing about the hotel was that lugging heavy bags up to the fifth floor was difficult.

Stayed here a while ago. Called ahead and told him (owner, Dennis Meistereck) that we were coming with our two children and he gave us the price. When we got there I payed for what I thought was two nights. He informed us that we needed two rooms and he just took payment for one night. We said, forget it, we'll go somewhere else (get a better deal and have a room together not on separate floors) and he refused to give us the money we just handed over. Horrible experience! And the only bad review I have written so far.

I shared a twin room in the hotel. The room was comfortable, large and clean. Each room is based on a different theme and are very individual and quirky.
The exterior of the hotel is modern, as is the reception area. The restaurant has a Titanic theme.
It is well located, only 5 minutes walk from the station, and a similar distance to the city centre, through a short tunnel under the railway.
A short but very enjoyable stay in the hotel. I would definitely recommend it. It is a little different, but great fun!. If I return to Nuremberg (and I hope I will), I will definitely stay here again.
The city is lovely too!
