Atlas Grand

My wife and I visited friends in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in April 2026 and stayed at the Atlas Grand Hotel. The hotel is wonderful, it looked like we were in a movie. Upon arrival we were received with sparkling. All staff is super attentive, all very polite and helpful. The room (302A) is large, the bed is very comfortable, the balcony has a beautiful view of the mountains and the hotel pool. I really like sauna, and the hotel sauna is very good. The view from the sauna is the same from the bedroom, it was fantastic to do sauna looking at the mountains. Breakfast is paid apart, but it was super worth it, because we ate very well. The hotel is close to the bus stations (lines 321, 322 and 326), so it was easy to take the tours to the Zugspitze and to the Sommerrodelbahn. Also not far from the train station, we went and came walking to pick up the train. On the street of the hotel there are many restaurants, including Greek, Italian and Turkish. If you want to live a few days inside a movie, stay at the Atlas Grand Hotel. The memories will be the best possible.

Hotel in absolute need of updating, group travel, room in the annex out in the courtyard all in a row like the Capsule Hotels in the East, where to have breakfast you had to dress and go out every time to go for breakfast or dinner. Not very cozy, poor breakfast was always missing something and poor dinner. Not comfortable,

A wonderful hotel, as one imagines a former post office of King Ludwig II. Unfortunately, it's just a front. The staff is very friendly but does not outweigh the grievances. The room stopped in the 1970s - pretty worn out. The bathroom renews with a bathtub for showering, but enormously high entry without anti-slip. Kavun Group buys and hopes for tourists who are into "shabby chic". The Oberhammer TV many channels from Chinese, Arabic, French, among others. No ARD or ZDF! Too bad
