FRAUD FRAUD and more FRAUD Catastrophic experience. The accommodation has almost nothing to do with the pictures on Booking. On-site, we were met with mold, unpleasant odors, dirty mattresses, and generally completely unhygienic conditions. Additionally, the accommodation is extremely noisy – you can hear every step and every conversation from the surrounding apartments. There was no thought of sleep or relaxation. All deficiencies were immediately photographed and reported directly to Booking as well as the hosts. Instead of a reasonable solution, we were only offered an alternative room or another apartment, which were also in the same poor and unhygienic condition. So there was no actual solution. However, the hosts' behavior was even worse. Responsibility was passed back and forth, and after we calmly tried to find a fair solution, we were treated disrespectfully and insulted. We were literally told to "write a bad review and get lost." Consequently, we immediately contacted Booking. The Booking customer service explicitly advised us not to stay there and to find a new accommodation. That is exactly what we had to do at short notice – of course with additional costs. Particularly questionable: In hindsight, one finds in the Google reviews already hints of lawyers, court dates, and further legal disputes surrounding this accommodation. Apparently, such problems are nothing new there. The entire incident, including photos and documentation, is with Booking. We are currently waiting for the final feedback from Booking. The incident has also been reported to legal protection. If an appropriate solution is not reached here, further legal steps will be considered. It is absolutely outrageous that such accommodation is still being offered in this manner.

Visited in March ‘26 with my wife, we both fell in love with GAP many years ago.. we booked a week off and decided that we needed a few days in Germany.. the plan was 3 nights in GAP, 3 in Nuremberg and then 2 in Cologne, well we did 2 nights somewhere else and shock horror like the last few trips to GAP we decided that we wanted to stay!! Unfortunately our host couldn’t accommodate us and it was back to Booking.com … where we found this spot! Just outside of Gap, on the side of a hill and overlooking some truly amazing scenery! Everything in a kitted out apartment was there… just needed some groceries. The view is truly something spectacular, we arrived on a beautiful spring day.. and left on a winter morning following several hours of snowfall. The apartment was clean, tidy and very well kitted out, our hosts looked after us. Read reviews about this cracking spot on Booking.com and they honestly did not make sense… yes the door key opens the main door and the room to my apartment, that does not mean it is going to open the door to their apartments. Also the concern for people who traveled there on foot as opposed to by car… so what!! It is outside of town … and up a hill, that has to be part of the charm. I very much loved this place, all of the boxes were ticked.. clean, tidy, fresh, well looked after.. etc!! But it is about personal preference.. it was somewherei enjoyed staying.. and somewhere I will go back to! . Al

It's great. We didn't miss anything, the location was great, the breakfast well prepared and the service just mega. Every wish was read from our lips.
