Best Western Atrium

Booked this hotel for the final night of our European road trip and were treated to a room full of surprises. The bathroom was decorated with what management hilariously claimed was a "tile pattern," not mold (see photos, you be the judge). Our room's air circulation was provided by a flimsy fan that rattled like a maraca, and the window wouldn't close easily, which was great for letting in the outside... and everything with it. Had to put in some effort to have it close completely shut. When we presented the mold issue to management, management was dismissive and refused any sort of refund. Avoid this place unless your idea of a 4-star amenity is a lesson in gaslighting.

I would like to share some concerns regarding the condition of the hotel during our recent stay. Upon arrival, service at the bar was notably slow, and several room key locks were malfunctioning. Many guests had to repeatedly return to reception to have their key cards reactivated during the stay. For instance, I was also unable to access my room out of hours and had to wake the reception staff during the night to help. Moreover, there were multiple reports of guests becoming trapped in the elevator, which is quite alarming! These incidents, coupled with other complaints which significantly affected our overall experience. Raised many issues via email but responses are extremly slow and no attention is taken. We stayed for our busn. trip as a company and had over 18 rooms booked for a couple of days. We were told by the hotel staff that the hotel is for sale.
