A very nice city hotel, perfectly suited for city tour and castle festival visitors. Everything is within walking distance. The city center is closed to cars almost everywhere. Side entrance to the festival approx. 100m. Parking in the courtyard via Margarethenstraße, parking for the underground garage from the parallel street Fritz Fend Straße. The room was large enough, clean, located facing the quiet courtyard, partially accessible, level shower, unfortunately the armchair was too low. Very good breakfast, unfortunately the rolls were a bit firm. Small breakfast terrace. Very nice staff. Wheelchair ramp accessible from the inner courtyard. Would stay again. Price ok, especially during the festival. We had booked through HRS a while ago.

We chose the hotel for our visit to the romantic Christmas market in the castle. It's an amazing location for this purpose with a 3 min Walk to the north entrance. The hotel looks quite new with decent sized rooms and a simple but adequate breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great water pressure in the shower. There's parking available outside the hotel's front door for EUR 15 per day. The hotel isn't cheap for a 3 star property but I'm glad for choosing it due to the overall experience and the amazing location.

We stayed again at the Hotel Central and can recommend the place without reservation. Whether room, breakfast, location or cleanliness, everything here is just absolute top. Especially the very friendly team is worth highlighting here again. Thank you for the great stay. We'll be back in 2026.
