Food and drink are fine and very tasty, however... Staff were very unfriendly and truly terribly rude. Both at reception and service on the terrace, it is truly unheard of. Nothing is possible, you are barked at, with a face like a thunderstorm. No air conditioning in the rooms, making it impossible to stay here in the summer. All guests are initially placed in the outbuildings, where the rooms on the 2nd floor are directly under a flat roof with a burning sun on it. If you don't want to get angry, don't go there. Not again!

We stayed here for an overnight stop on the return trip from Italy. Uncomplicated and fast check-in. Very large and well-equipped room with a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. We then ate in the restaurant's beer garden in the evening, which was also very delicious. Unfortunately, the parking lot was very crowded, as we were not the only ones using the Ochsenwirt as a stopover. In the morning at the breakfast buffet, it was very loud and hectic. Many guests were in a great hurry - eat breakfast quickly and then move on. We would come back again and not just use the hotel for a stopover.

We got a rundown attic room in an annex on the second floor, sweltering hot. We asked if there was no other room because my husband has a muscle disease and lung problems and had to walk several flights of stairs. This was not possible, there was not a single room available. Because we didn't accept this and said we would go home after dinner.... And suddenly... out of nowhere they had a room on the ground floor for us anyway. At dinner the receptionist was quite short on the brutal, because we were not sure if we would eat inside or outside because of the heat she snarled because it took her too long. After one night almost no sleep because there was no air conditioning anywhere, blazing hot! Did we go home? There's no way we're going back here. Unfriendly receptionist and just want to make money. This is a hotel for winter sports holidays and not for summer because it is blazing hot and nowhere air-conditioned.
