I loved this cute hotel in the heart of Rothenburg! I had the best room, with the most incredible view! It was one of my favorites rooms on my entire trip to the Christmas markets. What a cute town Rothenburg is! It was my favorite as well. I will definitely be back!

A very convenient location in Rothenburg in the old town. Right next door are the bookable parking spaces, which was very convenient. The rooms are very spacious, well insulated and the entire hotel area is very clean and tidy. What bothered us a bit was the not very friendly receptionist and also 2 breakfast serveers, who mostly sat / stood behind the buffet and cared little for the guests or the refilling of the breakfast plates. Otherwise, the staff was friendly.

While Rothenberg is a town worth visiting, I would not recommend this hotel. The towels were thread bare and the shower leaked, no matter how you positioned the showerhead. They do not have daily housekeeping. You have to request it. And when I requested it and also asked for a second pillow, the gentleman at the front desk was annoyed. They do not have true Wi-Fi they have a hotspot. We were in room 111 and received no signal. We had to go down to the lobby to connect, which was a major inconvenience. The breakfast was adequate, but there are signs saying the food is meant to be consumed there in the restaurant, i.e. don’t take a banana with you! We stayed in seven different hotels in Germany and never saw a sign like that. We were with a tour and I expressed these concerns to the tour company. If you were driving, parking would be an issue.
