Very good, family-run establishment in a central location. Rooms are nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Egg dishes are prepared fresh to order. The restaurant cuisine is very good! Typical Franconian cuisine with a twist.

The hotel is located in Bad Windsheim, the perfect town for a variety of activities on Romantikestrasse (Rothenburg, Wurzuburg and Nuremberg are within easy reach). It is a typical Bavarian historic house really very characteristic. The common areas are “dated” although fascinating. The room was renovated and spacious. We are really immersed in the tranquility of the Franconian countryside. Typical restaurant, where we ate well. Breakfast (not too much on dessert) has refined and local products. Very friendly staff.

I visited for the New Year and it was such a wonderful time. The staff is super friendly and all of them speak English! The room was comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was large and everything was very clean. We had the king bed and my only critique would be to somehow make the mattresses join together. But it wasn’t terrible enough that we were uncomfortable. There was free WiFi which was fast. There is limited parking in front but all around you can find parking. Everything is within walking distance so even if you parked in the street it was close. The location felt very central to a lot. The restaurant is great. Your stay comes with free breakfast. And although the menu didn’t really change much our entire stay, it was very good each time. We had dinner here as well and everything was delicious. Our stay was excellent and would recommend this hotel and restaurant to everyone who visits Bad Windsheim.
