I was in one of the vacation apartments. It was extremely hot (which of course no one can help), unfortunately there was no fan. Over the course of the days, the apartment heated up significantly. Once the heat is inside the thick walls, it does not disappear again so quickly. There should be a fan available for the
summer months without fail.

Light and shadow, why?
The hotel's location is great, very central.
The staff is super friendly and attentive, except for the waiter, Mr. Wender.
Super unfriendly, grumpy, and ushered my partner out of the beer garden at lunchtime. She wanted to wait for me and just have a quick wine spritzer, since we had already reserved a table for dinner that evening. Yes, it is the lunch rush, but for one thing, you are a hotel guest, and for another, there were still free tables, and the tone makes the music. For dinner, we had the bad luck of running into Mr. Wender again. The food saved the evening, big praise to the kitchen, the sauerbraten was a poem. The reception and the ladies at breakfast were super friendly. It was our anniversary, and they had gotten the ordered flowers and prepared a nice table for us. The breakfast had everything you need to be well-fortified for wandering through the alleys.
We had our room in the main building and it was perfectly adequate, with a nice bathroom. The only drawback, they want another 5 euros per night to activate the air conditioning. In my personal opinion, that is a no-go for a 4-star hotel at such a room rate. Also, the bottle of water in the room could be a welcome gift and not something to be purchased for 2.50 euros. Parking and the option to charge an electric car were available, but should be reserved in advance. The parking lot is locked and must always be unlocked by the staff. However, you are driven back and forth in a golf cart on a fast-paced ride through the narrow alleys.
All in all, a nicely centrally located hotel with great cuisine and, with one exception, a super friendly and attentive crew.

The hotel is a small museum.
It is highly recommended for a city trip or a festival visit.
