The hotel is lovely. The city is a treasure. It's impossible not to love the experience. Clean rooms, extra beds, a good-sized bathroom, and polite and kind people. And we were even lucky enough to see a festival (Pentecost holiday) which was wonderful. Worth every minute.

Hotel Sonne was conveniently located just steps from the Market Square. Our rooms were spacious with a lovely sitting area and king size bed. The breakfast was spectacular with a wide variety of choices and very friendly staff. It is worth noting that with many historical buildings there is no elevator.

This is an excellent hotel located just 100 yards from the center of town. It’s family-owned, and the service truly surpasses all expectations — you can feel the personal touch in every interaction. The breakfast was phenomenal, offering a wide variety of both hot and cold options. The rooms were very comfortable and well-maintained. Just note that, like many hotels in historic towns, there is no elevator — but the charm and hospitality more than make up for it. If you are driving into town they have a private parking garage for 20 euros a night. Highly recommended!
