We stayed at the Alter Ego , which is the charcoal building at end. We were given free upgrades by the hotel which was very nice. The room was big and modern. It had a small tv room with a swing . The shower was fantastic! Huge and it had a rainfall shower heads . The biggest plus was the air conditioning, which we missed greatly during our trip. Common kitchen was big and great. It had everything you need to make a meal. The hotel has a Michelin's star restaurant on site, but we didn’t try. I would recommend to anyone and definitely stay again

It is hard for me to rate fair - for the hotel was lovely, fantastic nice rooms and a good (but rather expensive) breakfast. Location is perfect and we had good, free parking. At check-out the receptionist had made a mistake in the bill (which net was in the hotel's favor) so we went back to fix it. The receptionist may have had difficulty understanding us - I don't know - but she got very angry at us and it was all in all a very unpleasant experience and a boring end to the stay.

As a note for seniors and individuals with disabilities: The hotel does not have an elevator. Unfortunately, the hotel is not suitable for individuals who use a wheelchair. The interior design is debatable - (design or not) - and our room was inadequately equipped for our needs despite the "design." There are some tripping hazards in the room and a relatively loud location on the busy street. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast also remains a positive memory. We booked the room via the internet. If we had had the hotel and the room available for decision-making on-site, we would not have booked it.
