Hotel Terrassen Hof

I cannot understand the bad reviews. I deliberately booked the room with a view of the lake, which also cost a bit more. If I book a budget room, I cannot complain if it does not fit 😉 Our room was very large, with a refrigerator, beautiful rocking chairs on the balcony. The bathroom was also spacious with two sinks and toiletries. Bed and pillows very comfortable. It was not luxury, but that would also cost more. I found the room very nice. Breakfast excellent! You can choose fresh egg dishes from the menu with avocado, toasted bread, etc. Fresh orange juice and coffee specialties are brought to you. Everything else was also very delicious. Dinner is also recommended. The service is sharp and friendly. The beer garden is a dream and the selection of drinks is also great. The location is very nice overall. The sauna area surprised us. It is really large and very nice. With 2 saunas, a steam room, a tepidarium, and an ice chamber. Everything looks really great. A swimming pool and a whirlpool in the regular area. In addition, you get a bathrobe, towels, and slippers. It could be a bit cleaner; you can tell that some areas have already aged a bit. Nevertheless, I think the hotel is great and will definitely come back.

The bathroom, no idea how one can build something like that. The sinks, maybe 70 cm high, above them a mirror shelf where normally tall people bump their heads while washing and brushing their teeth. Outstanding hotel located directly on the water with rooms in need of renovation, but excellent bathrooms. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Restaurant with home-style cooking. Breakfast buffet, very good.
