Mercure Muenchen Airport Aufkirchen

Room too small for 2 people right on the main road and next to the train line. Relatively loud despite insulation. No restaurant or bar available. The staff had no good knowledge about the hotel where they work. Breakfast was very good! There was a large white stain on the carpet in the room, as well as heavily soiled flooring in front of the elevators on the 1st floor. Floor. More like a 3-star category, not 4!

Very nice staff. Rooms with a lot of space. All is clean. The interior is getting a bit out dated. Bed is very good. Bathroom is out dated and needs some small maintenance. It is all clean. At the hotel is no Bar or Restaurant. If you arrive on Monday there is nothing nearby the hotel either so you need a car. Kind reception staff is helping to order Take Away Pizza but for a Mercure I had expected better. Breakfast was good and served with a smile.

This hotel was so quaint and the people were very helpful. They spoke English and were able to tell us which train to take how to get where we needed to go. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was just a train ride to Oktoberfest. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to be in the area but not in downtown Munich.
