Panorama Hotel Schweinfurt

The size of the room, the room facilities and the very central location are all very good. Very nice view from the 10th floor and the staff was also very friendly. I deduct points for the outrageous parking fee and the overpriced breakfast.

Sitting atop a shopping center/parking garage, this hotel has a lot to offer for the area. A short walk to the city center, with a fairly awesome view of the surrounding town, you're right in the mix of things. If the price is right for you, then book it. Sadly, breakfast is extra, but you can easily eat within town for same or less. Parking was reasonable, at first, but then strangely climbed by nearly double. While the garage doesn't belong to the hotel, one would have expected they had an ongoing deal with the garage to avoid crazy price adjustments mid-stay. For some awful reason, my room stayed hot (25-26) for the first few days. Windows open/closed, A/C on/off...nothing helped. Finally cooled off the last few days of my stay. Room was comfortable otherwise. Nice shower, good bed, and ample space to work. Add in the free use of the full size gym downstairs in the main shopping center area and you've got a winner. Overall, I liked my stay, although the temperature, parking variance, and excessive breakfast price slightly detracted from the rating. I'd likely stay again though.

I am a big fan of Eckhart Tolle. I watched a video on coping with suffering and immediately got to apply it staying at this hotel. No hot water on either morning. F R E E Z I N G C O L D S H O W E R !
