The location of the hotel directly at Sendlinger Tor is great in a side street. The rooms are tiny, with a bigger suitcase there is a problem but very clean. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately no AC, which was very disadvantageous during our stay. Windows we could not open because across the street in a small park a group consumed alcohol loudly, the problem is known on warm nights.

Super friendly staff. Lovingly designed rooms and generally lovingly and beautifully decorated hotel. Everything rather small, but it is also a "train"..;-) One point deduction because of the very manageable breakfast buffet and no air conditioning. Otherwise everything really great!!!

Arrived and had a seamless check in. Room was a double with wood panelling in the style of a train. It was clean with bottled water, toiletries in the bathroom, fridge and kettle. We discovered gingerbread hearts on the bed which was adorable. Bed was soft but perfectly comfortable and the temperature in the room was fine for us. (October time so not overly hot outside). En-suite with shower was compact but functional with hot water, clean towels etc. Two access cards and the hotel felt safe, with small lift to assist access if you don’t fancy the stairs. We never heard any noise from other guests or the street below, which considering we stayed to experience the last weekend of Oktoberfest was surprising! The hotel is around a 15 minute walk to Oktoberfest or 15 minutes the other way to shops so was perfect for us. Around 20 minute steady walk from train station. I found the staff to be friendly and polite. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would return happily. Munich is a beautiful city, Oktoberfest is a bonus.
