Hotel Alfa

This hotel pleasantly surprised me; it was a last-minute reservation, but everything changed when Anton attended to us, who, being German, spoke to us in perfect Spanish. He is very friendly and kind. We booked two nights. He assigned us a room that we loved, quiet, very comfortable, and with a large terrace. The bathroom was very clean and had the necessary space. We also met the ladies at breakfast, who were very kind and efficient; the breakfast is worth getting because it has plenty of options. We do not regret it (scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, cold cuts, etc.). I recommend the hotel; it is close to the Munich train station, very central, and the service we received is unmatched. When I return to Munich, I will repeat my stay.

This hotel surprised me. We arrived with few expectations and tired, but everything changed when Antonio attended us; being German, he spoke to us in Spanish!—a thousand times better than my poor English. He's a great guy, when you meet him you'll notice. We booked two nights but ended up staying four nights in total. He assigned us a room that we loved, zero noise, zero screaming, very comfortable and with a large window. The bathroom achieved its task as well: clean and with the necessary space. We also met the breakfast ladies, which by the way is worth buying because it has quite a few options compared to typical German breakfasts. At first we didn’t want because of past experiences of just bread and cold meats and coming from a breakfast in Bern, Switzerland, which was very poor indeed, but in the end Antonio made a proposal and we accepted. We have no regrets (scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, etc.). We were also very well served by Svetlana (which is not spelled like this anyway) and a Mrs. Portuguesa (I apologize, I forgot her name) who was so friendly and left us some snacks in our room. Honestly, I recommend the hotel as it is close to Munich train station and the treatment we were given is unparalleled. My girlfriend was amazed and that tells me we chose well.

During the final weekend of Oktoberfest, we decided to stay at Hotel Alfa for four nights. Due to our standby flight arrangements, we often make last-minute bookings, and we were fortunate to discover this hotel. The location and accommodations were ideal for my family of four. The hotel manager, Anton, was exceptional. He greeted us each morning and even prepared special treats for my children. Additionally, he provided valuable recommendations for local activities. He was also very responsive to email inquiries prior to our stay. Hotel Alfa is conveniently situated 45 minutes away from Munich Airport by train. It is also within a five-minute walk of Munich Central Station and a 15-minute walk from Theresienwiese. The location was so favorable that we rarely utilized the U-Bahn. The area boasts numerous traditional restaurants, and local rental cars are readily available adjacent to the hotel for excursions beyond Munich. The hotel’s breakfast was also commendable, offering a diverse selection of options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alfa and the opportunity to meet Anton and his wife. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich. We were so impressed with our experience that we may consider making it an annual trip.
