avendi Hotel am Griebnitzsee

Due to a business appointment, I booked a short-term stay at this hotel. Important to me are parking facilities and a quiet location. On arrival, it is negatively noticeable that the parking facilities are opposite the main house and a dry crossing is not possible in case of rain. Second shortcoming: The decor of the rooms are unfortunately a little older, the beds very narrow, there is air conditioning. So you are forced to open the window. Given the road, the railway line and the construction work around it, it is impossible to think of a peaceful sleep. The breakfast is very manageable by today's standards and compared to the overnight price of 179€. When I asked if there was also a toast, only a sloppy no came. In my opinion, the price does not correspond to the equivalent!

Nice hotel for business travelers, rooms partly out to the lake, but only for an extra charge. Early booking recommended, check-in generally only in the afternoon from 3 pm (the basic principle should be reconsidered, is unusual). Rooms clean, but are not cleaned every day (I only had 2 nights). Very nice breakfast buffet, really nicely prepared. In the evening, guests can relax in a stylish bar. This is recommended just because of the decor. So all around good - but not anymore.

Great hotel, spacious rooms, good breakfast with lots of choice. Located almost next to metro station Griebnitzsee so with about 20 minutes at Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Neat price, parking in garage is fine and nice Italian restaurant nearby.
