Hotel Am Lunik Park

Booking of three rooms was confirmed by email in November 2024. My telephone inquiry shortly before our arrival in July 2025 revealed that the three booked and confirmed rooms were no longer available. When I invoked the confirmation email of November 2024, they were willing to provide us with the rooms in the desired way. On our arrival in August 2025, the rooms were not available again, but were then provided on urgent request, in the form of confirmation of November 2024....however for a higher price. This procedure was very exhausting and took away the anticipation for the travel weekend. We were invited to a wedding at the country house Hubertus, which and usü then recommended the hotel at Lunikpark. The hotel is not recommended for overnight stays for wedding celebrations. For one thing, there are no large mirrors in the rooms and no mirror in the bathroom for the rear view. On the other hand, the reception is manned only a few hours and there is also only one key per twin room, which proved impractical sls, as all together had to leave the festivities. The breakfast time is from 7:00-9:30, although the buffet was already very well chosen at 8:00, some were no longer available The staff is extremely friendly. The Italian restaurant is highly recommended. The value for money there is more than okay. The food is consistently delicious, the portions large. We recommend the restaurant in any case.

We have stayed twice, both times on bicycle trips following the path of the former Wall. I believe it would be a bit far out to stay if one was visiting Berlin, but the area is quite nice. The hotel is in a peasant and mostly residential area, with several places to eat near by (we did not try the hotel restaurant, interestingly named "Kartoffel" and potato-themed) but it looked nice. Very friendly service -- our bikes were pulled out of the safe storage area and waiting for us when we checked out, a nice touch.

Booked for us by Velociped as part of a Berlin Wall round cycling trip, a small and clean hotel with a nice bar and restaurant (but also a few restaurants down the road) serving inexpensive food. Breakfast is the usual German type affair and very good. Rooms are a little old fashioned but the dining room and bar are clearly a lot newer, and it was just warm enough to sit outside when we visited. In a quiet area and road noise was not an issue, slept well.
