A lovely revision — and a surprising renovation! We have just returned home from our car vacation to Lake Garda and have visited Hotel Egon Hamburg on our way there. The reception has a beautiful new look, and the breakfast area is full of quality and coziness. It lifted the whole experience from our previous visit to the hotel where we have also been very satisfied. The room was lovely large, so we as a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 children) had plenty of space to spread us out without knocking into each other. The staff was entirely outstanding, friendly, attentive and with a smile on the lips from the moment we entered the door. The breakfast buffet was really upgraded: fresh bakeries, a good selection of hot dishes. It was a great start to the day, especially as the start of a long drive to Lake Garda. We will definitely come again, both for the next holiday south and any other occasion where we visit Hamburg. Can warmly recommend to everyone!

We had a fantastic stay at the EGON HOTEL. After the extensive renovation of the entire ground floor, the bar, breakfast restaurant, and lounge present themselves as modern and inviting. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Clear 5 stars from us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Egon Hotel is very close to the neighbourhood, very close to the metro. The building is rather inconspicuous. The reception was friendly and straightforward. Rooms are clean but very small. The bathroom is also tiny. The beds were too soft for us, but that's a matter of taste. The breakfast for 20 EUR was manageable and actually not worth the money. Conclusion: For one night - if the price is right - fine.
