Maritim Kurhaus Bad Homburg

Great location, center of Bad Homburg and adjacent to the Kurpark. My room is very comfortable and very spacious. A/C works well. There is a fridge and a kettle. Check-in was easy and pleasant. I would stay here again.

We stopped by here during the Bad Homburg Open with the hope of having dinner. Despite the dining room being approximately 25% occupied, we were told quite rudely that nothing was available. When we expressed doubt (as the exchange was happening in three languages) we were yelled at. When we left, we stopped at the front desk to ask for a dinner recommendation and she said eat here! We told her we were told there was nothing available. She called the restaurant and well, it seemed to be a longer conversation that merely a confirmation that we were booked. Very odd and quite the turn off.

We rented the room as a repeat offender as the location and amenities as well as the price are reasonable. Shortly after our check in came a busload of elderly people (65+) and spent the Christmas holidays there. As one could learn, they were Bridge-loving individuals who did not want to spend Christmas at home alone. The hotel has created a nice atmosphere with the warm and warm atmosphere. Actually a very nice and convincing idea. Praise therefore to the management and thanks for the delicious Christmas plate and the warm way to welcome us as guests.
