The Maritim is time-honored and yet exudes a touch of luxury that we enjoyed. The room was large and felt a bit like a suite, the mattresses were great and we slept very well. Thick carpeting is laid in the hallways and you can hardly hear anyone walking past the door. The bathroom was certainly older, but so clean, that was just great. The only thing is that there is no mixer tap in the shower and at the sink, which is not so good because it takes a long time until the right water temperature is set and a lot of water is wasted unused. The staff were without exception friendly and accommodating, the breakfast actually had everything you need. Anyone who wants to stay overnight well and relatively cheaply and can do without fancy frills is in exactly the right place here.
