Angel Hotel

If you are dirty and the dirt does not bother you the hotel is for you I was in Frankfurt for work I stayed one night I went to the hotel I changed 3 rooms because the first is the second there were dirty pillow sheets and towels At the third room was tidy but still. Always dirty dirty walls in the bathroom hair.

Honestly I've been stupid booking this hotel just for its name. Angel Hotel is walking distance from the central station, which is a plus if you are traveling to Frankfurt either for job or vacation. I must say this is the only plus of the hotel. It is on a secondary street which is - now I know - famous for sexy shops and red light pubs: I should have understood from the taxi driver, smiling when I mentioned "Moselstrasse"... What to say: rooms are horrible and smoke-smelling, even if they are non-smoking rooms; not all lights were working inside my room, small (smaller!) bathroom and noisy road downstairs. No comment on the breakfast, better to stop on a konditorei round the corner. Wifi did not work, but I would say this was a minor problem. I must admit the personnel were gentle and helpful in trying to find a Barbie-hairdryer for me (funny, but working). Also since I booked for 2-nights, they offered me a better room (far from the noisy road), but only for the first night: I was supposed to move on the second day. But man even if you put all your efforts on this place, it will remain forever a 0-star hotel.

I was really upset that their is nothing on their site or on booking.com about it being right in the heart of the red light district. The staff was great and I am sure they are doing what they can but I would not recommend this place unless you are in frankfurt for hookers and drugs. I will stop here nothing else positive to say.
