A convenient 10min walk from the main station and usefully including a kitchenette with a fridge and some complementary breakfast items. The bed and bathroom were functional, nothing special, and a small iron and hairdryer are provided as well as reasonable internet. I found it most convenient to text the owner to let them know what time I wished to pick up the keys. Round the corner is an African restaurant (Im Herzen Afrikas) serving cheap, inexpensive food, with vegan and gluten free options although I was rather surprised that you are required to eat with your hands! I stayed 2 separate nights and the river view room 2-2 was expensive (€137, Tuesday night) but room 2-6 was only €67 but perhaps because this was a Friday night. Overall a convenient and functional option.

Lots of shops, stores and restaurants all within short walking distance, and the Frankfurt main station is only less than 10 min walk. Unless you need to go some specific places, you can basically skip the public transportation. I did enjoy visiting the Christmas Market even though it was a bit too busy for my personal preference.

We rented the 3-person river-facing apartment. Pros: The location is close to the center. The property is very clean. The kitchenette was equipped with some drinks, tea, cornflakes and milk. Cons: The apartment for 3 is advertised as 38 sq meters, but in practice the room (with kitchenette and bathroom) is about 20-25 sq m, and it has a small balcony. The owner claims that the claimed size includes the room and the balcony together. There's an elevator but you need to climb several stairs to get to it. River-facing apartment can be quite noisy, due both to street traffic and crowds in the park.
