Best Western Hotel Domicil

Luckily, I was only there for one night. Nevertheless, I changed the hotel in the evening and demanded my money back when booking. The room is dirty, old and all carpets and walls stained .The TV does not work (is supposedly so on the whole floor) and the fridge aka the dirty minibar also does not work. Staff were friendly, but did not want or could fix the shortcomings.

The hotel is located in a very busy area, there is a lot of unrest associated with this in the area, with police and blue lights throughout the day. If you go in the wrong direction when you walk out the door, the experience is very unsafe. One tip in that way - turn right out the door, not left! The hotel itself is in a worse condition than what the photos on their homepage and other places show, is very worn everywhere and partly poorly cleaned. The bathroom smells of sewage, and the shower is ripe for renovation. The breakfast is neat enough, and on top of that it has a very gentle and friendly breakfast host. Stayed here ifm fair, and the hotel was chosen due to short distance to the fair. Prices were due to the fair set up to the absurd ift standard. It was a mistake to choose this hotel and would definitely not choose it again.

Almost perfect. I have stayed in many hotels in and around the (awful) area of the Train Station in my time, always to attend a show at the nearby Messe. This hotel is a short walk from the station, though the area has gone even more downhill than ever with drinking, begging and 'smoking' everywhere. The hotel was probably the best I have stayed in around the area. It was clean, a comfortable temperature, had hot water and a bed I actually slept comfortably on, nice and firm (maybe even new). Why only 4 stars? The sound from the elevator...my God it was awful and pretty loud and my room as right next to it on the 7th floor. So maybe worse if next to the motors at the top. Anyway, it almost kept me awake and to a state where I was going to ask to change rooms but I fell asleep and the rest is history. Would I stay again? Yes but I would request a room as far away from the elevator as possible. I would not unpack until I was satisfied I couldn't hear it. Advice for the Hotel....maybe get it seen to or sound proof the room as otherwise I think you'll do very well.
