Hotel Excelsior Frankfurt

I have been to many hotels in my life but this has to be the worst one. We were on a trip from our school and stayed here for one night. When we came in through the door it seemed normal at first not including the loud road noice. At first we didn't know where it was coming from so we decided to go out and get some food. When we came back to the room we decided to take showers to cool off and realised that the faucet was dripping and all the controls were seized. Also the faucet was completely green with some sort of mildew (see first picture). Also we noticed that the radiator in the bathroom was partly rusted out and was also dirty. (Second picture). Also the tiles and caulcing around the toilet were dirty. (Picture three) After seeing that we decided to check the rest of the room. Of boy did we find some things. First I decided to check the window just to make sure it wasn't cracked open accidentaly. And noticed that the window sill was dirty/dusty. (Picture 4) Also found where the noice was coming from. Our hotel rooms double paned window was missing one pane of glass because it was completely shattered (see pictures 5 and 6). Next we checked under the beds and there was lots of trash and dust. (Pictures 7 and 8) Also the lightbulbs in the reading lights were dusty which believe is a potential fire hazard. (Picture 9) The last thing that I noticed was that the sprinklers had a big layer of dust on them (picture 10)

I stayed there 2012 but I just came here to review because my school writing that . remind me of the good impression. Not only the location closed to station. But I cant' believe it free minibar (Can top up) and Full of drink, Juice, beer etc. Staff friendly advice all the local shops, restaurants. And another surprise is snacks at the lobby with coffee and tea. All day you can have. So generous I can say. With the cheap price you get more than you expected. Bravo! I recommend.

The Hotel is right next to Hbf station and also has long distance bus station near by. very centrally located. Complete value for money. Shoping and lots of good eating joints also nearby. morning Breakfast is also good.
