InterCity Hotel Frankfurt Airport

Well-suited for a (short) stay before a departure from Terminal 3. But signs/directions to and from Terminal 3 are practically non-existent. Service at the hotel is in need of improvement. Few explanations (e.g., how the air conditioning works), invoice only upon request, unfortunately no television reception at all. Otherwise, room and bathroom are good. Price/performance ratio is good.

Good location between Terminal 1 and 3. Very easy to reach by public transport or with the hotel's own shuttle bus. Rooms are very well soundproofed. Good breakfast buffet. Very nice and helpful staff.

Arrival for the overnight stay after prior booking at around 11:15 PM. The check-in with the barcode at the machine did not work. After a successful check-in at the reception, we wanted to go to the room. Both cards handed to us were non-functional. So, back to the reception. Finally in the room, we realized that there was only bedding and towels for one person. Back down to the reception.... We waited there for 5 minutes until the staff finished their personal conversations with each other. The bathroom was dirty, the shower faucet was broken, and more water came out of the shower hose than the shower head. Television only had public channels; the rest were blocked. This is not about the guests, but only about making money.
