Luxor

I have travelled all over the world and have stayed in some rough holes but this one takes the top prixe for the Worst Hotel In The World ! We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by more smoke in the lobby than in a 1970s working men's club. The rooms were rundown and had sockets broken and hanging off of the wall and light fittings held together by tape, the list of faults is endless. The hotel itself is around 1 kilometre from town, the the rough end of town, walking back at night we did not feel safe as 2 females in the thick of the Arabic Area. There appears to be a huge amount of Arabic people living in the hotel and at night a group of the males sit in the lobby smoking and arguing amoungst themselves, not the greeting clients want!

I never seen hotel like this in Germany. Room was terrible, dirty. Door to bathroom broken. There was such feeling that somebody was sleeping on bed just before our arrival, it was so dirty. Room was cleaned last time when hotel was built. Location is close to city center, but in very dangerous area. Ya can't walk outside because you can be robbed. We were warned by hotel desk manager about it. I can't understand, how this hotel got 3 stars. Highly don't recommend this hotel. I closed eyes on payed nonrefundable booking for 5 nights, took my wife, and moved to other hotel, close to railway station. This was worst experience in Germany in my life.

The hotel has a good position it's very close to the center. The staff was friendly and kind. But the hotel was terribile,dirty whe you open the front door of the hotel you will be greeted with cigarette smoke. They smoking inside the hotel. The blanked,pillow and carpet were stained. Very terrible experience. I can't believe the good reviews are true.
