Mercure Hotel Frankfurt Eschborn Helfmann-Park

We stayed two nights to visit Frankfurt. The hotel is 15 minutes from the commuter train. It is possible to park on the street for free, but in the evening, spaces are scarce. The hotel is located next to an Aldi, Globus, and Lidl. It is very convenient because the hotel has installed a free microwave next to the reception. The room was clean and modern. The only 2 negative points are the lack of a fridge and a complimentary bottle of water. The breakfast is not bad and you can request individual omelets. We also had both elevators out of service. The hotel found an alternative by going through the back, but it feels strange to go through the service areas. For the price paid, 45 euros per night, it is perfect.

The Mercure Hotel is located at Helfmann-Park 1, 65760 Eschborn – a central business address right on the outskirts of Frankfurt am Main.  The hotel has very nice and clean, large rooms with air conditioning and flat screen TV. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was nothing to complain about. It was all very clean. Care products such as shower gel were also available. Rooms can only be entered with a key card and are very secure. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are carpeted and very nice. There is also an electric kettle in the room. Located in the thriving economic area of Eschborn with good transport links (A5, A3, A66). The hotel offers a 24-hour reception. The staff was very nice and friendly as well as helpful. Different languages are spoken at the hotel. It's ca. 8 km to Frankfurt Central Station and 13–14 km to Frankfurt am Main Airport. Breakfast was rich and very tasty. The breakfast room was also very clean. Breakfast is served daily (even on Sundays and public holidays) from 6.30 am and was even included in the overnight rate for free during my stay. Otherwise, the restaurant “Balthasar’s” offers: Buffet breakfast (usually for an extra charge), lunch and dinner with Mediterranean or international dishes. A bar/lounge is also available. The bar also offers a variety of drinks, snacks and coffee around the clock. However, the prices are quite sumptuous. Meeting and function rooms: Especially on the top floor with skyline views; suitable for meetings and conferences. There are ample parking spaces outside the hotel and also paid parking spaces in the underground car park. Separate parking spaces are also available for buses. Attractions, museums, churches, downtown, opera and theatre etc. cannot be reached on foot from the hotel. Public transport is within walking distance. The hotel is also accessible and handicapped accessible. Also offers two lifts. Long distance connection just around the corner. I felt very comfortable in this place and would stay here again. Highly recommended hotel.

We were greeted friendly and moved into our room. We noticed that it clearly smelled like smoke and asked for another room. Again, the staff was very friendly and we moved into the next room. Unfortunately, the hotel has not been renovated over the years. All the furniture is very worn out. The bed is soft. Air conditioning cannot be adjusted personally, just the strength of the blower. But it still cools relatively well. Bathroom was ok, in the toilet you must not look under the edge. Old TV set. No smart TV. Room cannot be completely blacked out. It would be urgent time to change the furniture and renovate and modernize the entire hotel! Staff very nice.
