Akzent Hotel Alte Linde Wieling

Once we stayed here. Great beds and very good breakfast. Dinner fine. Operation tip top. Guests leave something to be desired, schickie mickie. Too bad that has been closed for a large number of years, after Owner has retired. Always well spent

We had booked this hotel outside of Munich during a business trip. When we arrived the hotel and restaurant were closed, with a note at the door, that the management is on vacation. No notification, nothing. Other guests were stranded too. The booking portal cancelled the reservation free of charge but more than a month later, I found a charge by the hotel on my credit card bill for two nights! What a scam!

Cosy hotel on nicely laid out property. Our rom was large with lots of cupboard space, the bathroom new and everything was very clean. The room was traditionally furnished which we very much enjoyed. All had a very familiar set up, staff was helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was good, but not particular better than the other places we staid. We sat well in the winter garden on the particular cool day, loved the wood carved ceilings in the dining rooms. A great combination of a traditional hotel and modern lodge. We could picture ourselves meeting with a large family with multiple parties here and having a good time. Seems they can accommodate everyone without feeling like a mass tourism place. Internet was free and we had good reception in our room. The restaurant and beer garden were nice though the trees outside were chopped badly. 4 stars only though as though we were accommodated in the back of the property traffic was loud and constant over night. In summer with open windows that could be a real problem. The other issue is not really connected to the hotel. The food in the restaurant is not really good, though we had heard it had a good reputation, we found it was average. Sauna was closed at the time, and I am not sure if they charge for the use.
