We were there for two nights and truly felt very comfortable. At the reception, we were greeted very kindly and received a complimentary upgrade. The breakfast was very delicious, and for us as vegans, there was a good selection. We had a small problem in our room, but the staff responded excellently to it! We can only recommend this hotel; the staff here is super nice and does a great job!

The house of the hotel is a unique, elaborate architectural work of the 1950s. The furniture and decorative objects match the style of the 50s and 60s very well - yet that also means that quite a few of them are in a rather worn-out status and cleanliness is not immaculate: mountings, sinks and tubs have stains, some areas are a bit dusty. The location of the hotel is very well, close to the town center and with a tram station nearby. The vegetarian / vegan breakfast buffet is sufficient, though it does not provide everything that other hotels might offer (e. g. there were no tomatoes and no cakes or muffins). Our room, with windows towards the backyard, was calm enough. Some exhaustion pipes in that backyard made a little noise, but not above the disturbance threshold. Our room was very large and well-furnished, with not only a writing desk and sufficient space in drawers and wardrobes, but also provided with comfy sofa and armchair. A colleague with a room towards the main street told me, that the trams passing by were rather noisy. The house offers free water to its guests; the staff is friendly, though a bit sparse.
