Hotel Hochheide

Delicious and cozy hotel, excellent rooms, good food and friendly service. A good point to start with walking or cycling.

We were invited to an event at the Hotel Hochheide in September for 2 days. On the first evening there were very varied outdoor activities in addition to a great BBQ buffet. In addition to e-bike courses and archery, laser point shooting was the highlight. On the second day we went by lift towards Skywalk after an excellent breakfast. Clear recommendation also for the newly designed meeting rooms and the very generously equipped rooms. The whole thing was accompanied by the boss Michael. Thanks to the whole team for a great time!

The room was large, however, contrary to the photos at the booking portal or here too, not in the nice new renovated state. Upon arrival in the room, both shower/soap dispensers were empty - new dispensers received at reception. Breakfast had a wide choice, but grain rolls were already out by 9am and supplies were not possible on demand. After the guests' breakfast, the table was wiped with the same cloth, then "bang" the chair/bench and shaken out under the bench. (we only observed it once, but once too much) The empty used glasses from the room were not removed/replaced during daily cleaning - we definitely know this differently. Overall visually a nice hotel.
