Hotel Renchtalblick

We went on holiday with a group of over 80 people there for 6 days. The hotel was very good value for money. The new owners were clearly trying to do their best. The rooms were clean and tidy as you would expect from a 3 star house. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and something for every taste. Dinner should be well coordinated in advance if there are large age differences in the tour group. There was nothing left to complain about after short talks. In general, they were happy and extensive to respond to any special requests (not only when eating). The staff did not always do justice to the large group, but made up for it with a very friendly approach.

We stayed several times at the hotel with the Balter family. Always we were very satisfied, especially with the breakfast!!! As of April 2025, unfortunately, the tenant has changed. This time the breakfast was a cheek, the sausage was already old, had tarnished at the edges and already smelled bad, no grain rolls, cheeses very poor. Incomparable to its predecessors, should nothing change at breakfast, we look for another hotel in the Renchtal

After having had great experiences at the 10th Black Forest Mini Run in this well-kept hotel 5 years ago, we chose this well-run hotel again this year from September 8th to September 10th, 2023 as our organizer's domicile. We were not disappointed! Not only the organizer crew but also all participants of the event were warmly welcomed. The owners, the Balter family, have been running the hotel successfully for years. Marianne Balter runs the hotel with a lot of love and passion, while Andreas Balter, as boss and chef, spoils his guests with fresh regional products. The high quality of service is guaranteed by the long-standing restaurant manager Lisa, who always keeps an overview even when there is a lot of demand. The hotel is big enough to successfully manage larger events (like ours). The price-performance ratio is appropriate in every way. Last but not least, attention is paid to sustainability, which is underpinned by 2 charging stations for e-mobility, among other things. Our group (50 rally drivers) was well looked after, the staff was available even after midnight and provided us with delicious drinks. We will be happy to come back!
