La Strada - Kassel's vielseitige Hotelwelt

The hotel is in a very convenient spot, quite close to the city center, making it very easy to get around.Amenities & Food: It offers a good range of comforts for the guests. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was good and met our expectations.The rooms were large and spacious. There is a significant lack of basic facilities, as the room did not have air conditioning or a fridge.The bathroom clearly showed its age and is in urgent need of a proper renovation.Communication: In some instances, the staff seemed to struggle to understand our requests when speaking in English. Summary:The value for money is borderline. While it has great potential, the missing room amenities and the language barrier prevent a higher rating at this time.

For a business trip to Kassel, La Strada was an excellent choice. The room was spacious, clean, and quietly located – despite the central location in the southern part of the city. The breakfast buffet was abundant and fresh. The service at the reception was friendly and straightforward. Parking was available, which was convenient. Clear recommendation for anyone who wants to stay comfortably and without stress.

We stayed there for an overnight stay on the occasion of Creme21. The hotel has its own car park and would normally be suitable for larger events. The rooms are spacious and newly made, only the bathtub with shower and glass partition is no longer contemporary and dangerous and smooth because no stoppers or grab bars. The staff, especially at the bar is very attentive and nice. Unfortunately, we also had a very bad experience. We were traveling with a car rally with about 500 people and the closing event was to take place there in the very nice hall with 2 large galleries including buffet. The buffet was available from 19:30. at this time we were with probably 150 other participants at the last station. When we came to dinner showered and hungry at 8:45 p.m. there was unfortunately nothing left. A soup was still there, some of the appetizers (rust beef was already gone) and when I wanted to get a main course there were neither ox cheeks nor roast pork, no not even potatoes or pasta. And it didn't look any different at the dessert buffet, just a few dry chocolate cakes left. There were then a few fruits after but they were missing in the morning at breakfast. At my inquiry what else there was to eat the cook also got cheeky and said I would have been too late. Unfortunately, this happened not only to me but to some other people. We already wanted to order food from Lieferando and have it delivered directly to the event room, but we refrained from doing so to save the hotel this embarrassment. So if they have an event there and their guests don't go home hungry they should go should be careful what the kitchen does, with us it was unfortunately insufficient!! It was clear from the start that the guests would not all sit there at 7:30 and then you have to have something to offer for the last ones!!
