Sportscheck Hotel

The ScheckHotel in Unterföhring is a brilliant sports hotel: Conveniently located in the north of Munich; nice, modern ambiance; spacious, cozy rooms; friendly, uncomplicated staff; good gastronomy and, above all, great sports facilities! As part of the ScheckClub, access to the large, fully equipped gym - no wishes remain unfulfilled here; perfect for pumping iron! In addition, numerous tennis, padel, and pickleball courts, and, among other things, the English Garden right outside the door for much more. An absolute must for sports fans in/around Munich!

I spent three nights at this hotel from April 14 to April 17. Overall, it is a facility with a very strong focus on sports and activity. The hotel is therefore highly recommended for sports enthusiasts, as the sports facilities are versatile and well equipped. Unfortunately, my otherwise mostly positive impression during check-out was clearly clouded. A blonde employee met me with a noticeable unkindness and also seemed unprofessional. This behavior has had an unnecessarily negative impact on the stay towards the end and prevented me from recommending the hotel without restriction. Overall a good place for sports lovers – with room for improvement in the service area.

Hotel located in a tennis club, with which it shares parking and bar. The rooms open onto the outside. Spacious and well cleaned. The property would need a little maintenance in the exterior and greater care in cleaning the pool and sofas. Several cobwebs (and spiders) in the exterior and in some rooms. Some difficulties with a safe and two light bulbs, never fixed in three days. Good location, just outside Munich, whose center can be reached in 30min by public transport. PC in sauna you enter only without clothes.
