Tryp by Wyndham Kassel City

Unfortunately, the stay at TRYP by Wyndham Kassel City Centre was very disappointing. We originally booked the hotel for four days, but after the first night, we had to switch to another hotel because the conditions on-site were unacceptable from our perspective. The rooms were heavily sun-exposed, not air-conditioned, and did not even have sufficiently opaque curtains. With outside temperatures of about 35 °C, the rooms heated up significantly, making it hardly possible to think of a restful night's sleep. In addition, there were further deficiencies: In some rooms, there was a penetrating, moldy smell; at least one room was not adequately cleaned and was heavily dusty. In the hallway in front of one of the rooms, there were also remnants of a puddle (of vomit???). Additionally, the Wi-Fi did not work during our stay. Overall, these circumstances clearly went beyond ordinary inconveniences. For a multi-day stay, the hotel was not suitable under these conditions from our perspective. Therefore, after the first night, we moved to another hotel.

The elevator was out of order and it was hot as in a sauna in the room. No air conditioning, just a small fan. Awful day for summer like this.

Many say the hotel would be old . Yes it is but it has its charm. Very clean the staff very nice and helpful and the breakfast very varied. Always happy
