Im Schulhaus

We recently hiked the Romantic Castles of the Rhine along the Rheinsteig, a very challenging path. We arrived in Lorch on an extremely hot day, 38c, so we were overwhelmed when the Receptionist presented us with cold water and face towels that must have been straight out of the freezer, to refresh ourselves. Even better, the room was large, clean, comfortable and AIR-CONDITIONED. Our luggage was being transferred from our previous night's hotel and had not arrived. No problems, reception told us to relax and enjoy a cold drink in their beer garden, they would let us know when the luggage arrived. We were super-impressed to go back to our room later only to find reception had delivered our bags to the room. Our first impression was definitely the best impression. The hotel is ultra-modern, very spacious with great facilities and in a superior location in Lorch. This hotel is definitely the best we had along the Rhine.

As part of the Rheinsteig hike the best hotel so far: the reception was warm, my suitcase was already in the room, which is very well equipped. I could make myself a tea at the drinks bar. There were newspapers. I got a recommendation for dinner. Breakfast was really great. The Service at this hotel is exemplary. Everything really fit!

We had come across this nice hotel hu a concert nearby and are delighted. That's how it should be, from the beginning to the end. The schoolhouse is top renovated, the rooms very modern and pleasant. Even small things like automatic sun blinds were noticed - how nice. The breakfast is very good, the choice and quality optimal and the Service very friendly and good. The nice thing: there are even charging stations in the parking lot. It was an all-round successful stay, we felt very comfortable and recommend this place without restriction!
