Hotel Everest

Booked in good faith for a quick overnight stay in Frankfurt. 500 metres from Train station.Please note that this hotel is called Himalaya and Everest is an annexe round the back. Check in ok and spoke very good english. Directed through back door into annexe.Would not reccomend for single lady travellers. Walked up 3 flights of stairs that stunk of cigarettes to room 5. Tiny 2 bed room with a sink. Bedding spotless. Electric heater . t.v and lights all plugged into extension lead in one socket full of wires. Looked dangerous enough for me to check the fire exits and escape route of which there was one Staircase. This worried me somewhat.Toilet and shower in seperate rooms down corridor. Hotel 20 minutes from most places Breakfast not to my liking in a dingy room but my uncle enjoyed it so it proves you cant please everyone. Would not visit again.

It looks much better on photos than in reality... The room design and facilities are really dated. Very unpleasant bathroom and expensive parking. Didn't like the breakfast either. However, the location is very good, close to the HBF.

Needed a simple hotel just to overnight and catch my 6am Flixbus trip to Brussels. it was the closes hotel. Plus: definitely location, if you are looking a walking distance from Flixbus stop and the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. Also the price was excellent for what was offered and the nice breakfast included. Minus: no elevators on the building i stayed. Not good, considering i has a rather heavy luggage. Would definitely stay again if needed. If you are looking for convenience, this is a good place. But its not romantic.
