Europa Hotel Offenbach

Room smells of smoke. Poor bedding. Depressing and worn out seventies style decoration and furniture. Loud voices woke me up in the middle of the night. Extremely small room with hardly any facilities. and all this for 175 Euros because all Frankfurt was fully booked. OMG. Now the things that were OK: the place is decently clean though all stuff in it is old and worn. Shower works and is fine. Breakfast was quite good with eggs, fresh fruit and a very friendly young lady who doubled on check-out.

We were there for a business trip, and rented 3 rooms. All 3 different shapes and standards. One was really very small (single room), really just for one person to get in and out and sleep. The 2 others were "bigger": 1 with 2 beds side by side and the minimum necessary space and commodities The second one was "bigger" than the first one (you better have some hangers in case you go for a several day stay). This second one had 3 single beds in when I checked in, then I left for a dinner and when I got back to the hotel, there were only 2 single beds left in the room... The next evening the third bed came back in. No refrigerator, the Wi-Fi awful... The breakfast (because they do not serve dinner there) was POOR, the service was less than minimum and the breakfast room is extremely dark and tiny. If I had to go back to Frankfurt, I will do everything to avoid this hotel.

Just a normal hotel, actually a bit too much old, not perfectly kept in order. Good point is that it's close to downtown and very easy to be reached from Frankfurt, however the prices are higher than the value itself. Suggested for quick staying to save some money compared to Frankfurt downtown. Good point: free parking with permit granted by the hotel.
