this place is probably owned by the owner of the lebanese restaurant downstairs ... The rooms are very very tired, the flooring is old and cranky and the appliances are like I had in the 3rd world countries, Kenya and Ethiopia or 20y ago in Russia! The mattress is good, and sheets are clean, but the rooms are suceptible to noise from the hallway and that is most likely what will wake u up... hotel should cvlose for renovation!

Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom except for the smell of nicotine. We tracked the smell down to the carpet because the room was recently decorated and the curtains, bed linen and towels were aroma free. This was once a smoking room but we coped. Next door to this hotel is a fantastic restaurant (owned by the same people). What a great experience that was. Some people may not be happy to stay here but I had a great nights sleep.

Hotel am Kochbrunnen is an older hotel in an excellent location. The staff was pleasant and spoke English. Our room was large but with very dated furniture. The bathroom needs refurbishing. The bed was comfortable. The TV only had German programs. The breakfast room was very nice with a large selection of European dishes and an extremely friendly, helpful lady. Restaurants and shopping were located very close. The bus stop was located just outside the door. Wiesbaden is not a tourist location (We were visiting friends) but is a lovely place to spend a few days.
