Hotel Askania

This hotel has a very good location in the town. The staff is very friendly and kind. You get what you pay for. I would rate the hotel as 2 star. It is driven by a Russian family. The rooms are okay clean and so is the bathrooms and bed. We stayed at room 305 which is the top tower room.

Appearance is very worn out. There was a smell of smoke in the corridor as we walked in even though they claim to be non-smoking. There is a big dog walking around free inside the hotel. We decided not to stay overnight.

This hotel has a nice old-world feel to it. No frills or fancy restaurant on site but there are plenty of places a short walk away. Our room was spacious and clean and the staff was polite and helpful. We were there in August 2013 and the town was very quiet as it's mostly a ski area.
