Intercity Celle

Fairly modern property with clear opportunities for more guest orientation. Consumption cannot be charged to the room bill because they "have already had negative experiences with guests." Leaving a deposit on a credit card for security is not possible because the software does not allow it. No TV reception, therefore a room change. Even there, only a restricted and limited selection of channels. The property is managed as a non-smoking hotel, which is fine. But leaving smokers standing in the rain far away from the entrance is a no-go! Other properties are much further ahead and offer, e.g., sometimes even covered (!) seating options! Only at breakfast was the service good thanks to the staff.

Ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful city of Celle on foot. Good parking options (hotel-owned parking spaces as well as the parking garage on Nordwall next door) also allow for convenient excursions by car into the surrounding area. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and practically furnished rooms round off the very positive impression. Recommended!

Pleasant hotel in the town, but rather further than suggested from the railway station (and IntercityHotel are usually right by them). Friendly helpful staff and good breakfast. No air-conditioning in rooms but I had a shaded room which was not too bad despite the heat wave outside.
