Der Achtermann Hotel

We had booked a city trip through Ameropa at the Hotel ACHTERMANN for 4 days. The service was extremely friendly. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked and was also always refilled quickly. The food in the restaurant was very good; my husband had the best rump steak he had ever eaten, however, the side salad was lackluster, no tomato, no slice of cucumber, just green leaves. It should be highlighted that my husband was assigned an extra nicely set table for breakfast on his birthday and there was a bottle of sparkling wine with a nice birthday greeting in the room. The room was in need of renovation and quite bare, not a single picture on the wall. The wellness area was very nice and very clean, the swimming pool was very nice and three saunas with different temperatures were great. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

The hotel is old and the track next door is noisy. No air conditioning at 33 degrees is really hard. Despite having a fan in our room. Breakfast was middle class nothing special and staff at the deck were friendly but cool. We booked the hotel because of the spa area, which was ok but away's puds had played off with wakers. We will not book the hotel again

A hotel that over the years has dropped significantly in quality. Both rooms and restaurant are under average. Furthermore, Goslar is a city that closes after 20:00... even during the high season in July.
