We were invited to a wedding and for 2 nights at the Best Western Föhrenhof. We were very friendly and accommodating. My wish for a room upstairs was fulfilled immediately. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Outside the windows there are blackout blinds from the outside. Since there is no air conditioning, this is a big advantage at the current temperatures. Right outside the door is a tram station and you are quickly in the city center. Parking is also ample. The hotel parking costs 6 euros per night. However, there are plenty of free parking spaces around the hotel. We can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

The room was overheated, not getting the temperature down at all. . You should get an anti-slip mat for showering at the reception! You shower in the bathtub! Breakfast nightmare. Coffee inedible, much too thin from a self-service machine, which can not be adjusted otherwise, according to staff., bread baked frozen goods, baked too short. Scratchy quiet radio call. It's frighteningly disturbing. Food in the evening in the restaurant unfortunately also lousy. Vegetables were charred! 4 small (naughty)flowersproud rosen . Salmon on tasteless parsley root puree , which was also dried. How unpleasant. Just a service that was very friendly. I was terribly hungry and didn't complain, otherwise it would have taken even longer. I why December 27th. Vlt owed all this to the staff's vacation, but with the shower mat that you has to pick up just when you want to shower, is not possible at all. Definitely not a recommendation.

The hotel is very convenient if you are in transit or have business in Hanover. For us it was optimal. The reception was very friendly and the staff allowed us a great stay. Although we arrived in the morning, we were able to park our car in the hotel's parking lot and rent bicycles for free. The room was okay- unfortunately with carpet and a bit stale. The single room was renovated with laminate flooring. Practical are the blinds that really darken the room. The breakfast was very varied and of very good quality. The lobby and garden invite you to relax.
