MERCURE HOTEL AM ENTENFANG HAN

I have now been to this hotel for the second time and will not book anything else. Previously, I had another one from a well-known chain, but here you really have nice large and clean rooms, friendly employees, and an outstanding, albeit not inexpensive, breakfast. I would especially like to highlight Ms. Tegtmeyer-Purwin from the breakfast area. Here, I really feel every time that she loves her job. Very attentive and helpful, truly there for the guest. Please keep it up!

I’m currently staying at this hotel for four nights and have been very disappointed with the service. On my second day, I accidentally broke my make-up foundation bottle but left it by the sink as I planned to buy a container and still use it. When I came back in the evening, housekeeping had thrown it away without my permission. I contacted Mercure and was told a manager would deal with it the next morning, but when I went to reception, I was informed the manager wasn’t in. This added even more frustration as no one has taken responsibility or offered a solution. It’s unacceptable to throw away a guest’s personal item, especially something expensive. I’m extremely disappointed and would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Mercure am Entenfang enjoys a quiet location on the outskirts of Hanover. The staff was very helpful and hospitable. My room was very large and provided everything you need for a short night. On the day of my stay the house seemed a bit lifeless, there were probably only a few guests. The breakfast I could not use due to time constraints. Be careful when parking: do not put the car in the parking lot of the neighbouring restaurant of the same name, this will be locked after closing time.
